In Gratitude
As I reflect on my “Walking Fore Kids” golf challenge, to say I am humbled by the amount of support I received from my friends, family and colleagues would be an understatement. I want to thank you for incredible generosity. Together, we raised over $80,000 (and still counting) for the children & families served by the Children’s Cancer Association.
I was able to play six rounds, and my scores were 73, 71, 75, 77, 72 and 72. The white tees made it a little easier! I ran the last round in 63 minutes and was accompanied by my family (including Modoc, our wonderful golden retriever grand dog). It was a round of golf that I will cherish forever.
Thanks to you, seriously ill children & teens will be able to battle the isolation experienced in the hospital with a Chemo Pal; they’ll enjoy the healing power of music though CCA’s Music Rx program; families facing financial upheaval from medical bills will have their critical needs met with CCA’s LifeSupport Family Enrichment program; and families will have the opportunity to create precious, lasting memories at CCA’s Caring Cabin.
